Bathroom Remodel

Three years into living in our house we finally worked up the courage (and the funds) to remodel our (only) bathroom. We spent a few weeks getting multiple estimates, some laughable, most more than we expected, and one that seemed to fit our budget. About three weeks after saying yes to the quote, work began on our bathroom. Here are some before pictures.

We went down to the studs in our bathroom because we knew the plumbing would likely need to be upgraded, and we relocated our bathtub/shower. Our contractor was great in providing recommendations on the best decisions for our small space and to save money - which we appreciated.

We decided to move out of the house while they worked since it is our only bathroom. Thankfully my dad welcomed us with open arms and we packed up our things for a few weeks in the suburbs. While we loved the time with my dad, we really didn't enjoy the extra 20-30 minutes added to our commutes and felt like we never saw each other. We eventually decided to move back home - thankfully my cousin loaned us the use of their bathroom two streets over. We combined that with our basement stall shower - and were happy to be home! We took a pause to head to Georgia for Thanksgiving and left them to finish up, though we did get our toilet installed the day before we left.

How exciting it was to return from an 11 day trip (engaged!!!) to our newly completed bathroom. We still have a few finishing touches left, but we're in LOVE with how it turned out. I've linked our products below each image for reference.
