As parents of an energetic 18-month-old, we absolutely loved exploring the playgrounds around Denver and the nearby mountains. It was such a joy to spend time outdoors, watching her discover new play structures, splash around at water parks, and explore scenic spots.   2. Clement Park Splash Pad A water wonderland, this Littleton gem has a splash pad to beat the heat and a playground to keep the fun going.

  3. Paco Sánchez Park Located in Denver, Paco Sánchez is a destination playground with its enormous climbing structures and creative design. It's a can't-miss for energetic kids.

  4. Sloan's Lake Park Playground North A great spot for families looking to enjoy both outdoor play and scenic lake views. After playtime, take a walk or bike around the lake’s perimeter for some beautiful views of downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains in the distance.

  5. Central Park Playground Our overall favorite! We loved this spot so much that we visited twice during our trip. Perfectly located for a stop on the way to or from Denver International Airport, Central Park features sprawling play areas, climbing walls, and shaded picnic spots.

  6. Congress Park A quiet and well-maintained playground in a neighborhood setting, Congress Park is great for a relaxing outing with the kids.

  7. Tiny Town & Railroad Located in Morrison, Tiny Town offers a unique experience with its miniature town and railroad. It’s a perfect mix of charm and fun for younger kids.

  8. Belleview Park In Englewood, Belleview Park features a petting zoo and train ride, making it a perfect spot for animal-loving children.

    This lakeside playground in Dillon is perfect for kids to explore while parents enjoy the stunning views. Be sure to stick around for the Friday farmers market.

    We loved it so much that we went three times! Rainbow Park has it all, from modern play structures to open fields for running, along with great mountain scenery.

  3. Keystone Resort PlaygroundKeystone, CO
    Located at the base of River Run, this playground is perfect for families exploring the Keystone area. It’s a great spot to unwind after a day of mountain activities.
